Services
Residential and Commercial Building Inspections
Inspections of condominiums, townhouses, single and multi-family
dwellings as well as commercial and industrial buildings. These are
thorough inspections of the building's exterior and interior
components and all its systems. Inspections are performed in
accordance with the
Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics of the
American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the
State of NJ
Standards of Practice 13:40-15:16. Each inspection differs in price based on the age, size and category of building
as well as the time spent during the inspection. Fees include
three hours of inspection time and a detailed narrative report.
Additional time spent beyond the three hours is billed at an hourly
rate.

Condition Inspections
These inspections are specific area inspections that cover from one
to no more than three specific building components. The base fee
includes one hour of
inspection time and a narrative report. Additional time spent beyond
the one hour is billed at an hourly rate.

Wood
Destroying Insect Inspections
This is a visual inspection for signs of our most common wood
destroying insects such as subterranean termites, carpenter ants,
carpenter bees and powder post beetles. These inspections include a National Pest Management
Association report
(NPMA-33).

Rough Framing Inspections
New construction inspections are performed to insure that the
framing is properly installed and that no hidden defects exist.
These inspections must be conducted prior to the installation of
insulation and drywall. Permission from the builder for access to
the property is required. The base fee include two hours of inspection time and a
narrative report. Additional time spent beyond the two hours is
billed at an hourly rate.

Radon Testing
We offer radon testing services to building owners and building
purchasers. We are NJ licensed radon testing technicians. Radon
tests are conducted using professional quality charcoal canisters
with Femto-Tech continuous radon monitors so that the highest
quality test result is obtained. Femto-Tech continuous radon
monitors are considered to be one of the most reliable testing devices available
with an accuracy rating of +/- 3%.Fees include placement and retrieval of these testing devices, analysis
of the results and a written report from the canister laboratory.
